The Drawn Surface: Underglaze Pencil and Washes on Clay with CJ Niehaus

Explore the soft lines and shading of underglaze pencils as the instructor discusses her inspiration and the subject matter behind her porcelain work. Tips for getting the underglaze pencil to perform without smudges will be covered, along with the use of color and underglaze washes with glaze.   Materials will be available in class, but bring ideas with you!

 

Tuition for this workshop is $100. A $35 materials fee is to be paid for consumable supplies.Cancellations & Refunds: Workshop cancellations are decided three business days before the start date.
